In late 2014, I edited the timeline section of a project exploring the n-word, which was nominated for a 2015 National Emmy Award in the News and Documentary category. It also won first place for Best Multimedia Package from the White House News Photographers Association and a gold medal for Use of Multimedia from The Society for News Design. Additionally, I produced the video section in the 2014 series From the Ground Up, which won second place for Best Food Multimedia Presentation from the Association of Food Journalists. Both projects were phenomenal team efforts.
